Events
Life Assets understands education and knowledge are key components of any financial plan. As such Life Assets clients are invited to events held on a regular basis with speakers and seminars on relevant topics.
These events are normally coupled with dinner or refreshments and provide a relaxed
environment from which clients are able to be educated.
Some of our recent events included;
An Evening with Hans Kunnen the Head of Investment Markets Research with Colonial First State. Hans provided a realistic market update in November which was found to be very valuable by our clients.
An Evening with Peter Thornhill was held in February at the Brisbane Convention Centre this invite only event allowed clients and their guests to hear this world renowned financial commentator. Peter’s unique style captivated the audience and enlightened, shocked and entertained those who attended.
In April 2009 we offered our clients the opportunity to listen to Emmanuel Calligeris, B.Econ, M.Bus Chief Investment Officer, ING Multi Strategies Group thoughts on the market and where it is heading over the next period of time.
Emmanuel is the Chief Investment Officer of ING Investment Management’s Multi-Strategies capability which covers a suite of multi-manager funds and the management of a range of ING multi-sector funds offered in the Australian market. Emmanuel joined INGIM in 1993 originally in a multi-manager role before he was appointed to his current position in November 2008. He commenced his career in finance as a Fixed Interest Adviser with Bankers Trust Australia, where he was responsible for analysing economic and technical data and interpreting it into investment strategies for fixed income portfolios.
We will also be hosting smaller tax planning breakfasts with our local accountants to ensure you are aware of the best tax planning tips for 2009. These will be held in Hamilton.
